It has come to our attention that Amanda Meredith, of South Carolina, is printing out and e-mailing copyright-protected materials from this web site and is using them as sell sheets to collect bogus fundraising orders for candles and other products on behalf of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Mid-Atlantic Chapter. THIS IS A SCAM!
If you have had any contact with this woman, have placed an order with her, or have any knowledge of her charitable solicitation activities, please keep all copies of emails and canceled checks. There is an open police investigation into this matter (see phone and case number below) and your assistance may help you recover funds. Further if you have mailed a check to this individual and want to try to get your money back, it is suggested you fill out a complaint form with the US Postal Service Mail Fraud Department (see link below).
This type of activity tarnishes the reputation of legitimate not-for-profit organizations and WILL NOT BE TOLERATED!
